So the path up to Kedarnath wasn’t anything like what I expected. It’s basically a concrete and stone sidewalk. I walked the first 5 or 6 km and wasn’t having any fun so I decided to hop a pony and it was a lot of fun, views of the Himalayas amazing, Kedarnath temple simply beautiful. It snowed and the temps dropped below 20 degrees so with no heat in the meager dormitory style accommodations provided we built a fire to stay warm and Sharathji joined us and recounted stories and Hindu legends.
