I had a great final day in Palma. I didn’t make it to the beach (too lazy) but I made it to the rooftop pool, I had grilled Dorada at a restaurant on the waterfront, I had a nice coffee, shopped for souvenirs and saw the gay pride parade from the hotel balcony.
I can’t wait to do it all again next year with a few days in Menorca so I can celebrate the Fiesta de San Joan with the majestic coal black Menorcan horses.
Special thanks to my new Mallorquin amigos Gabi and Fernando. Two wonderful charming guys, both good listeners, who enhanced and enriched my time on their island paradise, giving me the opportunity to learn about Mallorcan life, culture, history, politics and language. Should you ever need a driver or adventure guide in Mallorca I highly recommend them both without reservation.
Thank you to all of you who joined me on this adventure. Life itself, like this blog, wouldn’t mean much without family and friends with whom to share it and I’m blessed with both.
Final note on the Boutique Hotel C’an Alomar, the rooms are really really nice but I’d sleep standing up in a broom closet to have their Eggs Florentine for breakfast.
So my Majorcan adventure has come to an end. I had the best time, I’m heading home!
